MOMOTAROの劇場公演で、太鼓を「鬼の役柄」として演奏することのできるパフォーマーを探しています。
概要：
２０２４年５月５日（日）Japan Society、NYで開催されるこどもの日イベントにて、午後１時からの１回公演
コロナ禍を経て４年ぶりとなる２０１９年度版「MOMOTARO: In Search of A Hero」の再演で、「太鼓パフォーマー／鬼」の代役です。
音楽・振りを覚える必要があります。出演料あり。
応募条件：
太鼓を「鬼の役柄」として演奏できる
太鼓である程度即興できる
据え置きでの演奏と横打ち（八丈太鼓のようなスタイルと三宅太鼓のようなスタイル）ができる
４月中、Japan Societyで平日の日中にお稽古ができる（合計２０時間以下を予定）
５月３日のドレスリハーサル（時間未定）に参加できる
５月５日のテックリハーサルと本番に参加できる（朝９時から１４時を予定）

Audition Notice
Looking for a taiko performer for the theatre production of MOMOTARO (Japanese folklore)!
About:
Children’s Day Event at Japan Society、NY
Sunday, May 5th, 2024 | 1PM
This is a substitute position for “taiko performer/oni (ogre)” role from the 2019 production of “MOMOTARO: In Search of A Hero.” Learning music and body movement is required. Paid gig.
Qualifications:
Perform taiko as oni (ogre) character
Improvise on taiko comfortably
Play beta style and yokouchi style (both Hachijo style and Miyake style)
Available for the following dates and times (location is Japan Society):
Daytime rehearsals during the month of April, 2024 (20 hours or less in total)
Dress rehearsal on May 3rd Friday (exact time TBD)
Tech rehearsal and performance on May 5th Sunday (9am-2pm)
