A participating project for SHINSAI: Theater For Japan, a nationwide theater day to support victims of the great earthquake

CJA’s artistic director, Sonoko Kawahara, and young artists from Fordham Theater joined to present voices from Japan after the great earthquake and nuclear accidents in Fukushima.
On Sunday, March 11, 2012, the one-year anniversary of the earthquake that devastated Japan’s Tohoku region, CJA joined theaters nationwide to present Untitled NY: A Play Reading for SHINSAI: Theaters for Japan.
Co-presented with Fordham University Theatre Program, Untitled NY futures new short plays inspired by the great earthquake and written by renowned Japanese & American playwrights, and featured young American theater artists who wish to bring more awareness about the Social issue of nuclear plants occurred by Japan’s tragic earthquake to the rest of the world.
